You’re invited to my first Geocaching event:
CITO ~ Meet & Mingle SPRING CLEAN at Bushy Beach
A Cache In Trash Out® event is an opportunity to show your gratitude & service towards an ongoing environmental initiative supported by the worldwide geocaching community.
This area we will be meeting at is located in the suburb of Bushland Beach one of the outer suburbs of Townsville. GZ is close to one of the Bushland beach access areas. At the meeting area you will be welcomed by myself & my geo-munchkins & any attending geocachers.
I will have a table set up with Trash Bags & a Log Book for you to sign to claim your attendance to get your smiley 😀. I also will bring an Esky full of water bottles & afternoon tea snacks in case you forget your own.
I recommend to BYO: Hat, Water bottle, Sunscreen, Insect Repellent, Gloves, Chairs or Picnic Rug (can leave them in the car nearby too).
Bushland Beach (the actual beach) both north & south of GZ deserves a CITO, a good Spring Clean... it truly has spectacular views south towards Townsville & east towards Magnetic Island, & there is plenty of caches along the way.
If I have timed it right, low tide should be around 2:30pm on this day ~ Saturday 28th September, 2019... so there are a special couple of low tide caches here to find too.
