Geocache Description:


Omer Lookout

The lookout is just a few minutes drive from Arad towards Masada west and the dead sea on route 3199.
Overlooking the magnificent beauty of the Kanaim valley and the dead sea on its southern part.
In the heart of the Kanaim valley lays Kfar Hanokdim, a green desert resort similar to a big Oasis, hosting people from all around the world.
The mountain on the far end is called mount Kanaim and it is a very iconic table mountain that gave its name to the valley below.

Omer lookout was named after Omer Rabinovich, a soldier from Arad that lost his life in the army and loved nature.
