Geocache Description:

This is a fun little cache at the wonderful mural at Milford Hill Bridge where the ring road passes over Milford Hill.

The Milford Street Bridge Mural, on the south side of the bridge, shows scene from life in the area before the Ring Road was built. Here, you can see depections of Foster's Bakery, Invicta Leatherworks and The Crystal Fountain inn, all of which were demolished when the bridge was built. You can also see if you can spot the children playing in the street, 'Trunky the Barrel Snatcher' (who didn't steal barrels, but unloaded them for nearby pubs, including The Crystal Fountain), or Eileen O'Leary who sadly lost her life on the Titanic. Find out more about the Milford Street Bridge Mural.

The Jubilee Mural opposite shows how Salisbury celebrated royal events. Scene 1 shows the Queen's visit in 2012, going back via the 1977 Silver Jubilee to the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. In the final woodland scene, you might be able to spot some hidden Royal memorabilia. Find out more about the Jubilee Mural.

It is also worth visiting the nearby mosaics (marked by waypoints).

The cache is well hidden and you will need to tool  (a slightly squashed paperclip!) to extract the log from the cache. I have left one next to the cache for anyone who forgets their own - if you use it please replace it.

Please be careful with the cache and replace exactly as found, ensuring the log is wound tightly before putting back into the cache.

Congratulations on FTF to user 37251!
