St Michael's Church in Wales was founded in the 12th Century by Bleddrws but the present building dates from 1863-1865 when some of the masonry was reused by the Victorians. The east and west windows were reused but the west window removed when that side of the church was completely slated in 1987. It is thought that the timber bell frame and supports date from the 17th century whilst the bell is from the 15th century. The earliest gravestones are from the 18th century.
