This is our first cache. A traditional micro sized cache placed in the Davies Thomas Reserve.
The name of the cache relates to our family name and of course does not indicate that it contains food.
A parking waypoint is provided in Edgecumbe Avenue and this is the very much preferred approach as there is no safe parking in Main Road, which borders the park on the Northern Side. Access from Blackwood Railway Station would be possible but care must be taken when crossing the road.
The cache is hidden in a typical manner so there's no need for a hint.
The park is a small urban park which is beside a very busy road but seldom visited because the main acces is hidden away from the main traffic flow. It contains several cairns and plaques in memory of locals who have passed on, and it also contains many beautiful trees.
