Placed while walking the Fairfield horseshoe. I was commenting on the fact it was a shame so few of the fell tops on this walk had a cache on them, so decided that it was time that the box I use for my spare batteries was turned into a geocache!
I highly recommend this walk which starts from near Rydal Hall and takes in several peaks. We walked it anti-clockwise, as we were advised it was less steep that way which is true. Apparently Alfred Wainwright agrees!
