Geocache Description:

12 October 2019, 09:15 - 10:15

Rock skipping.  What better fun to have on International EarthCache Day.  Meet on the beach at the world famous Hallet Cove.  After the event you might like to explore some of this magnificient area's reknown geology.  Bring a chair or blanket if you need to sit.

On September 6, 2013 in Pennsylvania's Allegheny National Forest, Kurt Steiner achieved the Guinness World Record for “the most consecutive skips of a stone on water” when his skipping stone touched the water 88 times.
