This geocache is placed on the former Springbank Landfill Site, that was given to Softball Calgary on July 18, 2005 by the City of Calgary Waste and Recycling Services. There are 2 fields for Softball on this site.
Dress appropriately as there are Thistles in the summer and some water after a previous rainfall that can make navigating a bit more difficult on top of this wasteland.
Do not try to access from Glenmore Trail, but use the given parking coordinates.
