The Nariel Creek Recreation Reserve is a large and beautiful reserve on the banks of the Nariel Creek 12 kilometres south of Corryong. It is the home of the Nariel Creek Folk Festival, held each year in the period after Christmas and into the New Year. During that time you will not be able to find the cache as it will be too busy and Festival entry fees will apply. At other times of the year you should have no problems accessing the cache.
If you wish you can even camp at the site for a very modest fee. You can swim or fish in the creek too, or just bring a picnic and enjoy the shady location while listening to the sounds of the creek.
