Auburndale’s Historic Depot and Downtown City Park are located at the heart of the downtown area, bordered by State Road 559, Bobby Green Plaza, West Park Street, and East Park Street. The Depot has a variety of landscape areas for the public to enjoy. The park features a playground area for kids of all ages, there is a historic bandstand and the new Auburndale Rotary Butterfly Garden has a colorful display of Florida-friendly plants that host and attract many butterflies to the area. The Depot and Park is planned to become a future component of the Auburndale TECO Trail via Pilaklakaha Avenue, which has beautiful streetscaping that includes native landscaping and rain gardens.
This is a Letterbox Hybrid cache. For anyone not familiar with Letterboxing there is a log in the cache for you to sign and stamp (with your stamp), then you stamp your own log or paper (with stamp that is in the cache). If you do not have your own stamp, then stickers or handrawn artwork is acceptable or if you do not have your own stamp, you can just sign the log. DO NOT TAKE STAMP WITH YOU; IT IS NOT A TRADE ITEM!!!
