In gita in questo bellissimo posto per la prima volta, mi sono stupita per l'assenza di cache. Provvedo io a nasconderne una.
La stazione intermedia della funivia, detta Pavillon/The Mountain (2173 m s.l.m.), è architettonicamente molto interessante e ospita, oltre a punti ristoro e altri servizi commerciali, una mostra permanente sulla costruzione della funivia, una cantina che sperimenta la vinificazione di spumante in alta quota e un pianoforte che può essere suonato da tutti. All'esterno, si trova un divertente parco giochi per bambini, a tema montagna, e uno dei giardini botanici più alti al mondo, dove si possono ammirare oltre 900 specie diverse di piante montane.
Se venite qui con la funivia, verificate gli orari di apertura al link sotto. La cache è raggiungibile anche a piedi attraverso il sentiero n. 20 da La Palud (Courmayeur) (2h00'-2h30'), ma ovviamente in questo caso la valutazione del Terreno aumenta.
Il contenitore è un tubetto bianco e blu per medicine ed è nascosto all'esterno della stazione.
On a trip to this beautiful place for the first time, I was surprised by the absence of a cache. I take care of hiding one.
The intermediate station of the cable car, called Pavillon / The Mountain (2173 m asl), is architecturally very interesting and hosts, in addition to refreshment points and other commercial services, a permanent exhibition on the construction of the cable car, an experimental cellar for the production of sparkling wine in high altitude and a piano that can be played by everybody. Outside, there is a fun mountain-themed playground for children and one of the highest botanical gardens in the world, where over 900 different species of mountain plants can be admired.
If you come here by cable car, check the opening times at the link below. The cache can also be reached on foot via path n. 20 from La Palud (Courmayeur) (2h00'-2h30'), but obviously in this case the Terrain's evaluation increases.
The box is a white and blue tube for medicine and is hidden outside the station.
