Geocache Description:

Welcome to Appomattox County, Where Our Nation Reunited.

This Cache is called "The Touchable Cache" because it has a braille theme.

When you find the cache (Army Ammo) you will have to figure out how to unlock the cache by decoding the braille #s on the cache container.

Braille is named after its creator, Louis Braille, a Frenchman who lost his sight as a result of a childhood accident in his dad's workshop. In 1824, at the age of fifteen, he developed a code for the French alphabet. Unfortunately braille did not become popular until after Louis passed away. What a legacy... students all over the world still use his code today. In 2016, the United States braille code changed to Unified English Braille in order for English reading individuals to have the same braille code around the world.

After reading a few of the logs, it is obvious that some are not paying attention to detail. Everything you need to open this cache is written on the outside of the cache. Take your time because some numbers in braille are very similar in shape. For those of you that like to plan ahead I have added a picture of the side of the cache in the picture gallery. Consider giving it a favorite point if you like it.

I hope you enjoy this cache. There is a First to Find (FTF) Prize!

Congratulations goes to ckraj24593 on your FIRST FTF!! Congrats to Krajst1 on being 2nd to Find!
