Flamingo Flurrier, Chaser and the GCZ Team invite everyone to another fabulous geocaching social evening at our local pub. An opportunity to meet local cachers and others from further afield - everyone welcome! This is the 12th event we have organised in the village pubs together and we hope it will be as good as all the others!
Where:
Please come and join us in the Fox on the Causeway in Burwell - a large village close to the Cambridgeshire/Suffolk border north of Newmarket and just off the A14.
When:
We have arranged with the landlord to use the restaurant room (turn left after coming through the main front door) from 6.30-9.30pm on Monday 21st October. As the chef is away for half-term there is only a cold buffet option and you need to pre-order this (deadline now passed).
What to do:
Come and stay for the whole evening or just pop in for a quick visit and meet cachers from nearby and further afield, and swap stories and chat. Bring TB's for swapping or discovering (we'll have the usual couple of boxes handy).
There are lots of caches situated within a 2 kilometre radius of the pub (7 different types including the event), so if you want to combine the event with a spot of afternoon caching there should be plenty to keep you entertained. There’s a new puzzle cache set by the GCZ’s to contemplate at Fordham too, if you fancy a calorie counting challenge (GC8BAH0).

There is a small car park at the side of the pub.
