Crooked River Trails Cache #2 Traditional Geocache

This cache, and a couple of others in the area, will have you walking the trails in the Crooked River State Park in Camden County, the southeastern most state park in Georgia. It's a very quiet and uninhabited place, although not far from the big Trident submarine base at Kings Bay.

The cache has been placed with the specific permission of the manager of this state park, and  pursuant to rules that apply to all of Georgia's state parks. 

There is a $5.00 fee for entrance and parking.  The park is open from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.; however, the trails are open from dawn to dusk. Camping is allowed with a permit, and the park office has rental cottages on the property.
