Why this madness?
I have a number of friends who are convinced that there simply aren't enough multicaches in the area. Multicaches can be fun when well executed and I hope you'll find this series of multicaches offers a pleasant trip into a number of parks and trails in the southern Snohomish county area. Not a single cache is hidden under a lamp post in a parking lot with a million people watching you make the grab.
All the caches are simple multicaches where you'll get information from a sign or two and then calculating where the final hide is. At each of the ten caches in this series, you'll find that either the log or the container (sometimes both) have been marked with a letter from A through J along with a corresponding number. Take note of these numbers as you'll need them to find the final cache in the series Multicache Madness - FINAL.
Brierwood Park
With its out of the way location on a side street in Brier, this spot falls into the often heard category of "I didn't have any idea this was even here!" This park has a small playground and also borders a wetland that runs just to the north of the park. If you want to go read a book on the grass and have nobody bug you, this is the spot for you.
Calculating the final coordinates
Make your way from the parking area to the posted coordinates and look for a sign on the building.
- On the sign you'll see a phone number. The digits of the phone number are abc-ddc-caae.
- On the line below the phone number, you'll find two more numbers. Let those numbers be f and g respectively.
- On the last line of the sign, you'll see a three digit number, which will be represented as hii.
The final coordinates of this multicache are:

The fifteen digit checksum of all of the digits is 56.
