This cache is one placed as a memorial for Beth Abel. She was diganosed with tongue cancer in August 2018 and passed away in April 2019. She was an extremely strong woman, wife and mother and missed daily. Her children wanted to do a geocache with their mother's favorite things that she loved to do. Beth loved the outdoors, lots of fishing & hunting! The location we choose is close to the area that we did a Pikes Peak walk last October 2018 with Beth and all of her family and friends. Also Terre and Beth Abel were married up at Pikes Peak in 2008. There is a little trick to getting the box completely out of the area where it is. I believe Beth had that area picked for us as we saw a doe nearby!
