Geocache Description:

What’s more important to you:  staying on task or a potential First to Find?

This is one of several caches placed and released as a distraction measure during the Grave Hop, held October 12, 2019.  The Grave Hop, an annual event begun by L Frank – who has contributed extensively to the game of geocaching – and sponsored by SLAGA, consists of a series of tasks to be completed by teams in a limited amount of time, usually about four hours.  The tasks can be anything from ciphers to projection and bearing to field puzzles, but typically involve finding and utilizing information found on memorial markers in various cemeteries.

TheGeocachingFairy and her evil twin are up to their usual tricks, placing a number of new caches in and around the areas Grave Hop participants will be located.  The question is:  Will they be enough to lure the teams away from the focus of their tasks?

Please observe cemetery etiquette while you are looking for these caches.  This includes:

•             Be respectful of your surroundings!

•             If there is a funeral service in the cemetery, avoid it always.

•             If someone is there visiting a grave, avoid them; please respect their privacy.

•             Do not touch older gravestones, as you could damage them.

•             Do not run in a cemetery.

•             Do not yell in a cemetery.

Instructions for this cache:

The title may indicate 'evil' hide, but TheGeocachingFairy has been generous by placing a lovely, bright red bison tube here.  Be warned, though!  Those evergreens can still be a little prickly!
