Following feedback on our Carnbooth Wherigo, please note that this is not a clever role-playing or tour-guide type wherigo. No bells or whistles and simply an artifice to allow the placing of the virtual stage coordinates without the need for an annoying puzzle. If you want one of the slightly more interesting types try our 'The Raiders of the Newton Mearns', 'Drainspotting on the Clockwork Orange', 'Let's Get Physical' or upcoming (at least in May 2021) 'Don Quixote' ones.
One of a mini-series (or perhaps it will turn out to be more!). Nothing fancy. Maximum stealth required and please bring a pen. Although a wherigo, it's a simple one acting as a one-stage multi (withour any tricky calculations). Should take approximately two minutes,
The best caches will often take you to a place of outstanding natural beauty or some historic landmark. This one will take you perhaps somewhere equally important. One day this could save your (or one of your loved ones) life 
This cache has a bit of history. Originally set up as a totally different traditional, we placed last year. Then the Staying Alive concept was born this Spring and we removed this cache and placed another at the AED (later blocked by proximinity to the Village Hall cache). We had no idea how to proceed with this one until friends showed us a thread in the Scottish FB caching page that gave us the idea of how this one could be reinstated after all, using the hiding place that we'd had all along. A multi was no use, as the icon on the map would mess with AbrachHutchison's one, but a Wherigo seemed to get round that problem whilst retaining a very simple multi-type model. Turn on the cartridge when you get to the parking area and you'll see where to go.
This cache is a Wherigo which is a particular kind of cache that requires separate software downloaded onto your smartphone. It may also be played on certain Garmin GPS devices, but we have never tried it and suspect it may not play all aspects of a modern Wherigo. Our own experiences are with Android phones and the WhereYouGo app. This integrates very nicely with c:geo to make for a very straightforward experience.
