Qingcaigang, nestled between Jianshe Liu Malu, Huale Lu and Xianlie Lu, is hidden away from all three main streets but a great area to wander around. The alleyways and streets are nearly all open, not gated, and many are pedestrianized with ground floor shops and services installed. The pedestrian network is dense and can be disorientating. The alleyways in the area have the feel of extended living rooms which is only enhanced by the mix of shops and services, but at the same time it's fairly quiet and a good place for looking around.
The cache location is unusually (for this area) isolated and free for looking around. It's been used as a spot for some skateboarding practice. Too bad about the plaza in front being converted to a parking lot; when initially built it was a pedestrian plaza.
