Geocache Description:


This cache was placed by Columbus Girl Scout Troop #8004 in beautiful Astico Park. Astico Park consists of developed and natural areas on the historic Danville Mill Pond of the Crawfish River about three miles east of the City of Columbus in the southwestern part of Dodge County. The park is split by the river and connected by the historic Ninabuck and Scofield Bridges. The cache is located near the historic bridge on a trail near the river. There is parking near the bridge off of County Road T or you can park near the main entrance and take a longer stroll through the campground and many trails located throughout the 100 acre park. The area girl scouts and many other groups love to visit the park throughout the year. The cache is located approximately 15 feet off the trail and is a medium sized (approximately 5x7 inch) plastic waterproof box. Please log your visit in the cache notebook so the girl scouts can track who visited. Thank you and enjoy your hike!
