My pack and I were traveling along route 8 between Sidney and Utica on a midnight FTF hunt for the likely the last "Guard Dog" cache......which was a sort of adjunct to the original series. The other twelve puppies were published at their posts at times when we were not able to go after a FTF on 'em.....but hey! It IS a dog, and it WAS a FTF for the pack! So you can say that we got FTF on at least ONE of the dogs!

The furry ones and I sure had fun on that midnight canine butt-sniffin' run. So much so that we decided to add our own adjunct to the series, but not quite in the same theme. You won't find a cute little plastic doggie at this location, rather a plain-Jane bison tube. But the location will be obvious, it's winter friendly, and is a simple P&G (just watch the high traffic volume and speed). But perhaps you might find a few REAL tail-waggers just like in the picture above only a little way down the side road!
