Are you Spartan Tough?
Every year, New Norway School hosts the "Spartan Tough Invitational Cross Country Running Meet", near the west shore of Driedmeat Lake. This fun event is division-wide, and regularly brings together over 1,000 runners of all ages. The Spartan Tough event features 10 different races for participants of all ages (elementary to high school), with one of those races also being open to the general public. The races range in distance from 2.20 km, up to 6.72 km.
This geocache was placed in honour of this annual event, but is not associated with New Norway School or the event organizers. The location of this geocache is on public property, at a spot fairly close to the start / finish lines for the Spartan Tough races. While the cache does have a small writing utensil in it, it probably wouldn't hurt for you to also bring your own, just in case!
