Geocache Description:

In My Time of Dying is a traditional gospel music song that refers to a deathbed and was inspired by a passage in the Bible from Psalms 41:3: ”The Lord will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing, thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness”.

In My Time of Dying has been recorded by numerous musicians under numerous names, including Jesus Make Up My Dying Bed. The lyrics "Jesus goin' a-make up my dyin' bed" appears in historian Robert Emmet Kennedy's Mellows – A Chronicle of Unknown Singers published in 1925. The song gained greater prominence in popular music when Bob Dylan included a version on his 1962 self-titled debut album.

Led Zeppelin's In My Time of Dying was released on their sixth album Physical Graffiti. It is the group’s longest studio track (11 minutes and 6 seconds) and the album credits only the four members of the band as the song's authors.

DETAILS:The cache is located at the entrance of a neglected Hallock Family Burying Ground. There is a single headstone that should be of interest to you. The headstone has the names of several Hallock family members. The Hallock name is deeply rooted in Long Island history. A group led by Peter Hallock landed at what became known as Hallock's Neck in Southold in 1640. That group is said to be the first white settlers to set foot on Long Island.

From the parking coordinates it’s easier to stay on the building side of the fence till you get to ground zero. You do not need to go into graveyard to find the cache container. The cache requires a code to unlock it that can be figured out from what you see at the cache site – though it may be a little tough to see what you need after it snows.
