Huanghua Xincun is a small, dense cluster of mostly 8-10 storey buildings with a working-class vibe hidden away in a prime location next to two subway lines and dozens of bus routes. Close by to the north is Huanghua Primary School, and the Huaqiao school is also just up the road. There is one access point for cars which is always open and publicly accessible, and two additional entrances only for pedestrians which are usually open in the day but sometimes locked in the evening. Other than one access roadway, the interior is pedestrianized.
