"The big Bunya Box" Traditional Cache
Albyalbatross&Nicole: Sadly its time. The area is now so overgrown with noxious weeds ect and the feral pigs are out of control. The GZ is still worth the small effort for those who are dedicated walkers just for the view or a sneaky bivvy. The cache has been removed. The once great Bunya Mountains are slowly fading. Thankyou to all over the last two decades that made the effort to find and share their experiences.

For some reason i have received requests to make this cache EASIER to find. NOT HAPPENING! Do your research!!! It is not hard and is a long standing CACHE that embodies what the game is all about!!
The Location is a nice place and the average altitude is 1000mtrs. It is a Heritage listed area with well serviced tracks and camping facilities.
For those of you who have a problem with being off track!! Just do not go. National parks, in most cases, are completely accesable to anyone. Off track walking IS ALLOWED. Just make sure you are RESPONSIBLE. The tracks do have a purpose which they serve well.
The Cache is now a long lasting weather proof box. .It has a variety of goodies in it. take a cut lunch and sit back in the shade to admire the western views. It will be in plain sight when you are within 10-20 mtrs of it.
You will have to find the wescott Picnic area and follow a trail from here. All roads lead to rome if you are in the right place. You will also have some trouble with the signal in the trees but out on the open tracks well ,it will point you straight to it. You will need to wear long pants and a cap, mabey even a light jumper. Sneakers wil do just fine for this walk and it is about 15-20 mins to get to.EPE 5 mtrs
