Off route 2, I spotted Houghton Road and noticed on the map it connects to Mack Mt Road and back down to Route 2, so i traveled on Houghton Road and soon notice it becomes a class 4 road, and is not maintained during winter. Good thing is only September! A beautiful foggy fall foliage morning as i continue onward and connect to Mack Mt Road. I was searching for a fairly simple spot to place cache, and eventually found a quick park and grab location. It wasn't the spot i wanted, but the choices along this loop were slim. It is not necessary to take houghton road but if you do, enjoy the back country roadtrip!
