This cache is located on a section of the Te Henui Walkway that was bypassed when two new bridges were constructed to make the walkway pushchair friendly. This 'less trod' section is close to the stream, has much more interesting terrain charcteristics than the bridged part of the track and is a much nicer, and only slightly longer, walk.
There are multiple routes to GZ. I have indicated nearby parking at Spencer Place, there is also close parking at Wairangi St. Or you could walk the round trip of about 2.5 from East End Reserve, or walk a bit further to other caches further up the walkway.
The cache has a log only, and there's no room for anything else. When closing the container please line up the notches.
