The London Special Equipment Event No.3. This New Year Eve we will need a boat, ANY form of boat to reach our Treasure Island! Land at 1pm and stay until 2pm to share evenly all the booty that we find, Aargh!
For the third year running we have another special equipment event on NYE in central London for all to enjoy and have fun. Sail your boat to the island in the middle of the children’s boating pond at Regent’s Park where you will be greeted by your jolly host. There will be a treasure chest full of gold geocoins and pearl necklaces (Trackables). Stay for a good Geochat, if we get stranded you can sign your name on the SOS logsheet with a message in the bottle!
The first year of the London Special Equipment event we climbed a steep grassy knoll using ropes, last year we climbed the summit of Mount Primrose using ice picks. This year we keep on an even keel and cross a stretch of water with our boats. Remember, no hornswaggle, make every effort to have a boat and that it floats too!
