Geocache Description:


The cache is NOT at the posted coordinates. To find the cache you must enter the 10-letter word from the title of this GeoArt Series into the geochecker.


Prince Edward Island (PEI) has over 50 lighthouses (click) along it’s 1,800 km coastline. Many are decommissioned or on private land, but 9 are open to the public, at least seasonally (click).

Most caches in this series are down “Red Dirt Roads” (RDRs) that are not maintained during the winter and will be muddy in the spring and after rain; they make for a nice snowshoe or cross-country ski during the winter. Some involve a short hike along side-trails. Spring and summer can be buggy.

The difficulty & terrain ratings are an average for the entire series. Some placements are a bit easier than posted while some are more difficult. All caches but one are winter-friendly, and most but not all are park & grabs with the right vehicle.
