Geocache Description:

Alongside the road, terrain up the hill semi-difficult, but very short. Cache is 45' from road. This cache was adopted by Luckykoi, I've left everything the same other than upping the terrain rating from 2 to 3.

I would recommend continuing on past the cache site, and going all the way up to 'staircase rapids.' It is a great hike. Although the exact location of the cache isn't good for young children (however they will surely enjoy watching you get it from the road), even small children can do the hike to the end. (My then-3 year old daughter made the entire hike without complaints..) The cache is in a Rubbermaid container, inside a black plastic bag. Original goodies include:

US Navy 2nd Class petty officer uniform emblem (pin)
US Navy belt buckle
Garmin GPS 'belt pack' type case
pens/pencil/ logbook
pack of wildflower seeds
2 blank CDR discs
am/fm portable hand-held radio
velcro strap
bundle of wire-ties
