Geocache Description:

This cache is left in memory of our brother, David Stewart, who was born in Clinton but lived Lowry City, MO.  He graduated from Lowry City in 1975 with a class of 11.  He recently passed on 09-15-19.  My younger brother still lives in this area on the family farm which was established in 1800's. He enjoyed caching with me here in New Mexico and the "treasure hunting" aspect of caching.

This cache is placed on private property. We thought the history of this area along with the rural setting would be a great place for a cache. We ask that you do not cross the fence as this is again my brothers private property.

The area beyond the fence up the road in the other fenced area was once home to an underground missile. This was the Minute Man Missle program. The missile has been removed but the underground area was left in tact and buried  I have provided a link for further history. A sample picture of what it used to look like are in the gallery.
