If you enjoy hiking and fishing this is the place to go. There are 3 ponds available for the public to catch-and-release fish. Access to these ponds is by foot only. Beautiful scenery enroute to the ponds. I had a fun time catching and releasing the fish when I hiked to all three ponds. You will be hiking across the beautiful Tall Grass Prairies in the Flint Hills. Plan ahead and prepare for this hike. If you pack it in, pack it out including pet waste. Leave what you find, no collecting. Respect the willd life. Be considerate of other visitors.
