Welcome to The Blood House geocache. It was placed here to celebrate Halloween 2019. The geocache awaiting you contains a log, a pen and a pencil, and some swag. Please remember to trade fair.
Now for a scary Halloween story. At a lonely crossroad in rural Parwan stands a haunted house. Back in the 1940s the house was attractive and well-maintained. It was part of a small, thriving farm owned by a young married couple. Everything was going well for them until one cold, stormy night. A stolen car driven by an escaping lunatic skidded on the wet road, and crashed into the house's front gate. The driver survived the crash, stumbled down the path and pounded on the front door. The young couple inside were woken by the commotion, and opened the door. The driver attacked them with an axe and killed them, stole their car and made good his escape. After a week the cleaners gave up trying to get the blood off the walls. Nowadays the house is dilapidated, but the ghosts of the young couple remain and people really shouldn't get closer to the house than the front gate.
N.B. I might have embellished parts of the story; e.g. the bits about the escaped lunatic, the car crash, the axe murders, the stolen cars, the ghosts, the bloody walls and the cleaners.
Happy Geocaching!
