The magic of the reverse geocache box has been transformed into a wherigo you can play on your smartphone: The Reverse Geocache Wherigo.
In this wherigo you will be given the distance to the geocache but not the bearing. You will need to use the reverse geocache box in your wherigo items menu to find the cache.

The wherigo begins at the Apotheosis of Saint Louis in Forest Park. Press the play button below to watch a video about how the reverse geocache works.
Once you get close to the geocache (within 30-50 ft), it will be time to start searching. Watch your screen, when it says "you are really close," you are ready to hunt the physical cache. Directions for Downloading Wherigo Cartridges
To download wherigos to your smartphone, you must download the cartridges directly through wherigo.com. The easiest way to do this is to find the link on the geocache page and follow it to the wherigo download page (click to see image).
Once on the page, choose "download." The website will ask you to sign in with your geocache credentials. You will then have a choice between downloading for pocket pc, garmin nuvi 500, garmin oregon, or garmin colorado (click to see image). If you are playing on a smart phone, choose pocket pc and then press download. In the WhereYouGo app, the device will be chosen automatically for you.
If playing in the IOS wherigo app make sure to choose "open in wherigo" on the last page (click to see image).
