From a little distance away, this is a beautiful hill, a piece of nature, in the middle of a developed area surrounded by upmarket residential estates.
Sadly, we are a nation of litterbugs. Right next to the road, there is a wide and quite deep ditch and it is full of garbage, broken bottles and other litter.
As one walks on the small footpath that winds its way up the hill, the view is quite lovely, but if you look down the thing that will grab your attention isn't a small veld plant or an insect scuttling away, but the litter. Builders rubble, polystyrene, rubble from when a nearby road was built, household rubble, and the ever-present broken bottles, is everywhere.
This is not a cache that one could do after dark as the area is dangerous due to the rubble that litters this piece of veld. Also, do not attempt taking a shortcut from the road to GZ. Use the small path.
The cache is a small container secured to a branch of a brilliant green thorn tree. The thorns could be quite hazardous, so do be on the lookout for them.
