A small hide along the Commission Ditch trail in Sherwood Fields Park. Trail is not on the map but has intermittent markings and a brown "Commission Ditch Trail" trailhead sign that is hidden by tall weeds in the summer season. This trail connects the 2 main loops that are before the bridges. BYOP. Bravery required, there is mud, thorns and bush-wacking on the way to GZ. Park is closed 10pm-6am.
The Commission Ditch was constructed in the 1920's to drain wet areas for agricultural use. It is regulated by NYS DEC.
