Geocache Description:

The cache is in the Bidwell-Sacramento River State Park not far from Chico, California.

Enjoy a short level hike with lush scenery. The cache is close to the trail in a small grey plastic ammo can.

If you like funky river bars be sure to check out Scotty's Boat Landing a bit north of the cache location. Scotty's attracts a great mix of people -- from salty fishermen to bathing suit clad college students (this is a popular ending spot for those floating down the river). A large deck overlooks a boat dock on the river. The burgers are pretty good too, and all ages are welcome.
