Celebrating cache find #100 with a purple box... my favourite colour. Vogt Road is a lovely road that is a shortcut for the local farmers and those that know! The sourthern part of the road is part of the Heysen Trail and generally is good condition all year round. Hopefully you will find this location 'pole-a-rising' too! Easy stop and grab.
This point of Vogt Road near a trig point just provides a beautiful view across what Colin Thiele wrote about "The Valley Between"... the valley between the Clare and Barossa Valleys. The valley although not named is as beautiful as the others. This point provides an easterly view towards Kapunda that is breathtaking in winter with the lovely shades of green and lovely in summer too, just hot!!
