Geocache Description:

ALERT! ****** ALERT! ****** ALERT!

There were problems with the initial location, both actual(it's gone missing!) and potential(risks we didn't take seriously enough given the nature of the hide and the camo)so we have decided to move it.

It was difficult, prior to publication, to get the co-ords right on this one due to both natural and man-made interference with GPS. To a degree this is still true but you do not want to be approaching the cache directly from the nearby road and, if you get to the river and your GPS says to keep going, remember this is not a high terrain cache :)

Log sheets are double-boxed in a 60 ml. screw-top pot, BUT . . . to add a little fun . . .the camo is a tad unusual :)

This cache is part of a series created with cycling in mind, but we cannot recommend cycling on much of this section (north of Bramley) unless you have very good mountain bikes, and are adept cyclists. The trail gets more and more difficult as one progresses , and is virtually impossible up closer to St Martha's where the Downs Link ends on the North Downs. Whatever you may decide, and from wherever you begin or end your caching journey, you will probably need to return along the same route or use 2 cars, leaving your second at another point somewhere along the trail.

We have created a Public List of all the caches in this series (including some set by other owners) along the Downs Link trail. We will add new caches to the list as they are created:) Downs Link Bookmark List

More general information about this series, including many recommended parking locations, can be found on Downs Link - Garden Centre? which is the first cache of the group heading north from West Grinstead Old Station, recognised as the midpoint of the Downs Link bridleway.
