The geocache is not at the posted coordinates. There is a nice view. You must solve the puzzle below to find the coordinates. THE PUZZLE IS PRETTY EASY!
In keeping with some other hides in the area, the name of this geocache is a "paraprosdokian", which is a figure of speech that ends unexpectedly. That has nothing to do with the cache. But I needed a name.
If you aren't familiar with this kind of puzzle, you may want to try solving GC61BVX: (NSML02: a Micro Logic Tutorial) first, or try NSML08, another easy one.
THIS PUZZLE IS REALLY EASY!
You can get the coordinates by solving the following: The five letters (A, B, C, D, E) represent the 5 of the digits from 1 to 9. No two letters are equal. "D*A" represents multiplication and "DA" represents a two-digit number. So if D=2 and A=3, then DA=23 and D*A=6.
- All of A, B, C, D and E are odd numbers
- B + D + E = A
- D*E = BE
The geocache is hidden at N 45 08.X, W 064 22.Y, where ....
X = A*A*D − E*A + B and Y = CDC. Now go get it!
