About this cache: You can hardly really visit Albany – New York's capital – without using I-90 at some point. In fact, there were plans in the 1960s that were supposed to connect the Adirondack Northway (at an Exit 3 that they are just now building a half century later) to I-90 via I-687 (which is no longer part of the plan).
One of the exits planned for I-687, however, was going to be for Corporate Woods, a hub for large businesses hosted locally - the "big but small" vibe that Albany's all about. That did get built, but as I-90's exit 5A, with the original supersized ramp intended for I-687.
Because I wanted to have a well-stocked ammo can, good for TBs, with easy access for the travelling geocacher, at almost any hour, this seemed to be The Spot to place it. Please be subtle in entering the treeline, preferably from the southeast, so as to avoid creating an obvious geo-trail (especially when there is snow on the ground).
