This hide is near the precisiion air drill manufacturing plant, Seedhawk. It was started in the early 1990's by two local area farmers, Pat Beaujot and Brian Dean. In 2006, it merged with the Swedish company Vaderstad. In 2007 they produced an 84 foot wide air seeder with a 800 bushel seed cart, the largest in the world. They continue to produce quality seeding equipment and employ about 250 people making them the largest employer in the area.
