Jell's Park is a wonderful parkland to enjoy away from suburbia. With the approval of Parks Victoria, I have placed a series of three traditional caches and a multicache here. The park is a popular picnic area with a variety of paths and bike tracks to explore. There is also birdlife and challenging Multi caches to experience.
The other caches in the series are -
Jells Park Rejuvenation traditional
Jells Park Bird Life traditional
Jells Park Read and Reeds - short multi
You can walk to this Traditional cache from the popular picnic spots to the west of the path - ( and walk off the lunch ), or head for the parking area, if open, and stroll to the cache area - then continue through the gate around the lake for 2 more caches and a multi-cache on the west side of the lake to make the full circuit.
The cache is placed just off the path close to the shore of Wildlife lake.
There is a small path off to the Left of the main path about 15-20 meters before the gate into the bird area - this small path will give you access to the shore and GZ.
There is no real undergrowth close to GZ - the ground is covered by a layer of dead pine needles that help the hide - so there should be no damage to local flora.
The trees may interfere with the satellites - I have been there a few times. It is best to set your device on the ground or stay still for a good 20 seconds to get bearings.
You are looking for a sisterna lunchbox hidden is a semi clearing close to the water - covered by natural surroundings.
There is a Logbook and pencil in the cache and medal for FTF which went to n0w0rries.
Room for swappables and trackables.
Please replace the cache set up as found.
