Be persistent! That's what my mother always told me. If you can't do something the first time, try again and again until you can, like riding a bike or passing a course or flying an airplane. If you fall down or fail, get right up and do it again. There are really smart people out there like Philbeer who can accomplish a difficult task the very first time out, but I'm not one of them! I usually fail and fail again, but the voice in my head tells me to "be persistent" and try again. Her maxim has served me well over 65 years.
