Welcome to Post Park Leash-Free Area (Oakville)
This is Geocache #13 in the growing series of Milli Doggy Park Adventures.
It's always amazing what Milli (the BugFinding Pooch) and I find when we area out geocaching. We were in Post Park to find another cache, when we spied this off leash area. We just had to explore, and see if there was enough space to place a cache here. Well, in we went!
This is a very interesting park. There is a green space buffer, between the "Off Leash Area", and the Neighbours who back on to this park. Well this rarely used, perhaps never, green space had many wonderful hiding places. It's a little bit wet in there, so I recommend boots. You will be looking for a pill bottle with a stamp and log sheet, hanging about eye level. I but you've never been in a dog park like this one before. To reach the buffer, you will have to walk through the dog park, and out through the gate at the waypoint. If you have a sniffer dog like mine, she's going to love it in there!
This park also has a small climber for the children, circled by the off leash area!

Milli's Thoughts About this Park:
A dog park with an area with brambles, thorns, trees, and an apparent spring that is bubbling up from the ground. YES PLEASE! The dog park itself was okay, and other then a dog named "BOLT", that liked to hump everything in sight, the other canines here were quite friendly. Some of the humans were nice too, others were very anti-social. I guess my favourite part of this park, was where "BugFinders" left the letterbox cache. That was one crazy green space full of smells, dirt, fresh water, tall plants and trees, and most importantly - "Lots of Smells." The park is just average, the natural buffer, that gets a 4 out of 5. Hope all your furry friends enjoy this park as much as I did.
