Tabletop Mountain is a unique geographical feature on the eastern side of Toowoomba. The 2km round trip to the summit will take just over 2 hours return. The hike is popular with locals and on a normal weekend you will certainly not be alone on your trek.
The name for the cache was inspired by my sons who seemed to enjoy they fact that you might go for a slide on the gravel if you are not careful.
The cache is located part way up the loose rocky section of the climb, just off to the southern side of the track. The cache is a large sistema hidden under some of those volcanic rocks, just out of sight of the passing walkers.
