This drive along Moore Creek Road is to bring visitors to the farm that my ancestors came from England to work at in the 1860s. Thomas Drinkwater brought his wife Sarah, and 8 children ranging from age 14 to 6 months of age to live in the Daruka/ Moore Creek area. Thomas was a Vibne Dresser and worked at the property Daruka after he left the Paterson area working for the AA company. Thomas died 8 years after moving to the Tamworth area but his wife Sarah and his children stayed in and around the Tamworth area.

PLease be careful with the Geokids , but there is enough space to park safely at most of the locations. Be wary of snakes.
