Geocache Description:

Another multi cache highlighting the final resting places of some of the area's earliest settlers.

I tried to do a bit of research on the Parkman area, but it was really hard to find much. I resorted to walking amongst the markers and looking at dates and names to see if anything stuck out as important. I did find a relatively old marker belonging to someone in the Welsh family, but based on the dates, they were born a bit after Parkman was first settled. (Parkman was first settled in 1804 for those of you wondering).

So in the end I ended up finding 2 markers nearby one another in what I determined to be about the oldest part of the cemetery. These two markers had two of the earliest BIRTH dates I could find, so these were people alive at the time that the village was founded, but that doesn't necessarily mean they lived there at the time.

Still, it's interesting to see these grave markers of those who were around at the time the village was first created, or those that lived in it in the early years afterward.

To find the logbook, you need to find two pieces of information.

Step 1: At the posted coordinates, you'll find a large gray stone belonging to the Reynolds family. Find the year of birth for MR. Reynolds (the top name). There are 2 Reynolds stones nearby these coordinates, you're looking for the one whose wife died in 1890.

Step 2: At the reference waypoint listed, approximately 20 feet west of the posted coords, you'll find two rows of flat white (very plain) markers. You'll need to find one belonging to David. He's the only person I could find who was born in the 18th century. Find his year of birth.

Take the two years you have and enter them into the checker below to get your final coordinates. Enter the numbers in the format *YEARYEAR* in the order of the steps listed above.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.
