This cache is located off the Oregon Trail route at the new Gering Civic Plaza. Stop by and enjoy this great space that will be used for so many outdoor events and activities. Bring a picnic lunch and sit down and take in the beauty of downtown Gering.
This particular location holds a special place in my heart as my daughter is the original designer of the space and to see it go from a design to fruition was amazing to watch. Can't wait to see it develop even more with a future water wall, stage, fire hearth and a fire pit.
October 15th 2019 was the official day the park was dedicated and officially opened to the public with guest speakers and the placement of a time capsule.
The code for the "gate" to get in to the cache is the local area code. Depending on nearby events stealth may definitely be necessary!
