You will need to get out of the car and walk to find this cache, there are plenty of walking paths through this area with lots of birdlife and Bunnies you might even spot a Kangaroo or a Wallaby. We have even come accross Echidna in this area.
It is a quiet area but there are often people walking through. The terrain is fairly flat, and it is a bush area.
The river is nearby and you will see some information signage near the cache.
You are looking for a small/ medium container that contains a number of items including stickers, a FTF Coin, Travel Bug , Keyrings and other items.
Please leave an item if you take an item, exception being FTF Coin and Travel Bug.

The original cache went missing, we suspect the high school kids hanging out nearby may have seen somebody looking for the cache and went to investigate. We replaced it with a smaller temporary container to see if it goes missing again. We plan to put a similar sized cache to the original back if this one doesn't disappear. Currently you are looking for a mint tin. Will change description when we upgrade the cache. There are works going on to the Island Sanctuary area, the Cressy St Bridge is closed permanately. The access from George St is temporarily closed. There is access from Memorial drive, the gates are open but there are signs that say footpath closed.
